And if you are looking for an unforgettable travel experience, take a boat ride through the jungles of La Moskitia.
Ancient History
Honduras is home to one of the most incredible historical sites in the world – Maya ruins at Copán. This well-preserved ancient city takes a couple of days to explore properly, but you can also spend your time in the pretty old town of Copán Ruinas which is full of colonial architecture.
