Stylish Men’s Jewellery for 2021

A lot of people think that jewellery is just for women but that is not the case at all. If you look back through history you will see that many men wore jewellery and it wasn’t just the rich and those in positions of power who donned them. Although jewels were often a sign of wealth they were also a sign of ownership too.

Today although jewellery is still seen as having wealth and status it can also be seen as a sign of something else too. I know that there is a stereotype that only young people and unsavoury characters wear jewellery but that shouldn’t be the case at all and if you are looking to add a bit of bling to your wardrobe there are a few ways you can do this no matter if you want to wear a lot of bling or subtly. There is plenty of jewellery for men of all ages and they should be free to wear it if they so wish regardless of their social class, wealth or age.

Rings

The only jewellery my husband wears is his wedding ring – even now it still looks odd seeing it there on his finger. He tells me that before we met (in his younger years) he used to wear a signet ring until he lost it. He always planned to replace it but never got around to it. There are tons of rings available from subtle bands to all-out bling fests there’s something for everyone.

Chains

Chains have always been a popular jewellery choice for men, worn both around the neck, wrist or both. They are stylish and can be worn for pretty much any occasion. Whether you like a thin chain or a Cuban chain that has thicker links there are plenty to choose from. If you like hip hop jewellery then you definitely can’t go wrong with a chain or two around your neck or wrist.

A watch

Wearing a watch isn’t really seen as a piece of jewellery these days but if I think if it has a metal strap and/or has bling on the strap or dial it is most definitely a piece of jewellery.

A piercing

Wearing an earring is something that is common amongst younger and teenage boys. In the 60’s and 70’s piercings was a form of rebellion and only punks and hippies had them and even to this day they are often (not always I might add) seen as something that is worn by the “wrong type” but why do we as a society think that? Today eyebrow, ear and nose piercing is still popular and I even have a few friends who have their tongues, nipples and belly buttons pierced.
