  • The boys have already broken up for half term and we were enjoying the lovely weather, playing in the garden up until today. Today it has done nothing but rain, because of this we have been busy using some of the supplies that came in the Mister Maker Doodle Drawers.

  • Most children love to make things and my three are no different, in fact Nathan loves nothing better than to get the glue sticks, pom poms and googley eyes out – my kitchen is covered in his artwork but I really wouldn’t have it any other way.
  • If you have little ones you may have heard of  Mister Maker. He has his own show on the CBeebies channel and loves to make lots of things. He keeps all his supplies in his doodle drawers. Fans of Mister Maker can own their very own doodle drawers complete with over 1500 pieces and the plans for four exciting projects including a door hanger and picture frames. you don’t have to do the tasks you can make anything you wish. Inside in the drawers you will find pom-poms, lolly sticks, pipe cleaners, fibre pens, glue sticks, glitter pens, googley eyes, beads, card, stickers and lots more. 

A variety of colourful craft supplies, just like those in Mister Maker’s Doodle Drawers, including foam shapes, pipe cleaners, pom-poms, lolly sticks, glue sticks, beads, coloured paper, and stickers spread out on a worktop.

  • The activities / items within the drawers will help your child to develop creative, practical and tactile skills in a way that computer games never will. You can do activities together so you get quality time together and what’s more there are no batteries required, yes you are bound to make a little mess but this is easily cleaned up after. 

Inside the drawers there is an activity for you to be able to make a caterpillar. Nathan and I decided that this was something that would be fun to do. There is everything you need, pom poms, lolly pop sticks, eyes and an instruction leaflet. The instructions were easy to follow and it took Nathan less than 10 minutes to complete it.
