Last night I had a ball. In fact, I would say it was THE best night out I have had all year. My best friend had bought us tickets for Ant and Dec’s Takeaway on Tour show at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield. She had bought them for my birthday next month and it is by far the best present I have ever received. To say we had been waiting for ages for the date to arrive was an understatement as she bought the tickets last November when they first went on sale.

If you’re a fan of Saturday Night Takeaway you will not be disappointed by the tour – we certainly weren’t. If you have seen the show before you will be familiar with the sort of things that happen. Ant and Dec surprising members of the audience – there was plenty of that and one couple even got engaged.

Chris Moyles was our celebrity announcer for the night (I’m not his greatest fan but he was really good and kept us entertained. We had music from Ashleigh Roberts and Peter Andre who was brilliant and had the whole audience on their feet singing and dancing along to Mysterious Girl.

There was the chance for one member of the audience to Win The Ads (sadly it wasn’t either of us) but the lady who was picked went on to win a whole bundle of prizes – a car, cash, an all-inclusive holiday and many other things – how lucky was she?

Takeaway would not be the same without Ant Vs Dec. The Arena was split into two halves and each was given a presenter to support. We were Team Dec supporters!. The show is split into two acts – each act had one round of Ant Vs Dec and the boys didn’t disappoint in their efforts they both did a great job but the overall winners of the night were Team Dec!

Riverdance (with Ant and Dec) performed at the end of the first act show. They were amazing and something I have wanted to see for such a long time and I will definitely be booking tickets for their tour.

We were also treated to Ant and Dec performing Let’s Get Ready to Rumble at the End of the Show Show – This was awesome there are no words to describe how great the boys were. I loved it and even more so as I was a massive PJ and Duncan fan.

If you love Ant and Dec, Saturday Night Takeaway or you just want a great night I highly recommend going to see the show if you can find tickets. If you’ve already got tickets you are in for a treat. I haven’t told you everything that happened and I haven’t gone into too much detail as you really need to see it for yourselves. We had an amazing night and you will too. The show started at 7.30 and finished around 10.40. It really is money well spent in terms of performance time.

I have to say two massive thank you’s – one to my lovely friend for buying the tickets and the other to another lovely friend who was a lot closer to the stage than we were and who has let me use her close up pictures.
