Win A Querkles Colour by Numbers Book

Adult colouring books are very much the “in thing” at the moment – I love nothing better than grabbing a book and a box of pens or pencils on a night and colouring away for a couple of hours and I’m not alone – many of my friends love to do the same. I love that it helps me relax and that I can take my time with colouring the prints anyway I like. Recently I was sent a new type of colouring book to try. Let me introduce you to Querkles: A Puzzling Colour-by-Numbers Book (£9.99 from WHSmith and whsmith.co.uk) by Thomas Pavitte.
Querkles is an original and unique concept. From a first glance, you might think that Querkles is nothing but a random array of overlapping circles that has no meaning or relevance to anything but look a little closer and you will see that  hidden within each picture is a famous face just waiting to be uncovered.
Using just five pens, pencils, felt tips or paints you will see each picture come to life before your very eyes. Although the puzzles look complicated to start with I assure you that they’re  no more complicated than a colour-by-numbers picture. You can use any colours you like so the results may be a little different to what you expected at the start. The book contains 20 portraits of well-known faces. Each one can easily be removed from the book and can be framed and displayed.
