Thinking About My Next Holiday

A holiday might be the last thing on your mind right now but that shouldn’t stop you from thinking about your next trip away. In times of uncertainty, it can even give you something to focus on for when times aren’t as hard. Having something positive to think about can help reduce stress and anxiety.

My next big holiday won’t be until my 40th birthday, which is a few years away but that just means I have a few years to plan my trip and can save up to ensure it’s the trip of a lifetime – we got married on my partners 40th so we need to do something just as special for mine don’t you think?

Holidays I have in mind include

A cruise from New York

As almost everyone in the universe knows by now we got married last year in New York and I loved it so much that it’s my dream is to go back asap but in reality, it is probably more likely a few years. For my next visit, I want to go in December so that I can see my favourite city in the world when it’s at its most magical. I love Christmas so this would be just amazing.

Another way I could visit New York is to use it as a stop-off before going on/ finishing off a longer holiday too. Did you know that you could take a cruise from New York to many different destinations? I would love to visit the Caribbean and this is possible via a cruise. I’d either spend a couple of days before in New York or a couple of days after in the city. It would be amazing to visit Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, Little Italy and many other places again.

A safari

I love wildlife so I could think of nothing better than going on a safari holiday. My friend recently returned from a trip to Kenya and she said it was the best thing she had ever done on holiday and she has been on some amazing trips – I am jealous of her travel adventures that’s for sure.

An outback adventure

I have a few friends who have emigrated to Australia and I’d love to go over there and see them again. Australia is so big though I’d need to prioritise what I’d like to do. I’ve mentioned wanting to visit Melbourne before as I’d love to watch the F1 and visit the neighbours set as I am a huge fan.

A Disney fairy tale

I’ve always wanted to go to Disney World so I would certainly look at a trip to Orlando. I could even add in a trip to the Universal theme park too so that I could visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (I am a huge fan of Harry Potter too).
