The Best Nightlife in England

Sometimes, you can’t beat a great night out. And thankfully, England has more than its fair share of fantastic destinations full of restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs. Though we could focus on so many different cities across the country, in this article, are just going to look at five of them for some inspiration for your next big night out. Whether you are looking to organise a major party or just a simple night out with friends, any one of these destinations would be a fantastic choice.

Even though they face some of the coldest weather conditions in the whole of England, this doesn’t stop people going out wearing next to nothing even in the dead of winter! There is a club night for you to be able to party every single night of the week, and you have a whole range of different options available to you. The Diamond Strip is the place to head if you are looking for something a little more upmarket. Otherwise, the Jesmond area in the north suburbs is the more laid-back choice.

With its two major universities and compact city centre, Nottingham crams a whole lot of nightlife into such a small space. The trendier bars are located in the old Lace Market and Hockley areas. And there are plenty new cocktail bars and craft beer pubs opening up year after year. For fans of music that is a little heavier, you could end the night at the famous Rock City which has been around since the 1970s.

In a city the size of London, you are bound to find plenty of places to enjoy some fantastic nightlife. You have everything from the fancy clubs of the Mayfair area like the Mahiki guestlist to the more alternative areas such as Camden. And you can obviously enjoy world-class entertainment from some of the biggest artists in the world at places like the O2 Arena or take in a show in the West End.

The birthplace of many musical movements and the home of some fantastic bands and performers, you can be certain that Manchester offers a fantastic night out for anyone who pays a visit here. A lot of the best nightlife takes place in the Northern Quarter where you will find a host of fantastic pubs, bars and clubs.

A hipster’s paradise, Brighton has always prided itself on being a little alternative. There is a thriving gay scene and it is a destination of choice for many stag and hen parties. Wander around the narrow streets and you are bound to find a bar or two which take your fancy.

A night out in England is never going to be dull, and these are just a few of the main towns and cities which you should consider taking a trip to yourself. Be warned; it is going to end up being very easy to get caught up in the revelry to the point that you are likely to wake up with a sore head the next morning!
