My Songs App on Spotify

Now that the clocks have changed, Bonfire Night and Halloween are done and dusted for another year the focus in our house has turned to Christmas – parties, presents, decorations, gift wrapping and more parties. The boys end up with a better social life than we do although we all celebrate on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve together so we can’t complain too much can we??

If like us you have lots of parties to attend or even host, there’s one important thing you must remember to include and that’s the music… No Christmas party is complete without some festive tunes. If you have a Spotify account then there’s a great app available that is full of songs suitable for children. The app is called “My Songs”. Here you will find all the Christmas and party songs you will need plus many other types of music too – in fact there is something for everyone.

If you want to download My Songs you need to log into your spotify account (it’s available with both the free version and the premium). Click on the ‘app finder’ section and scroll down until you find My Songs. It’s easy to spot because of the bright yellow smiley.

My Songs aim is to engage and encourage younger generations to enjoy and love music. I absolutely love my music and I hope the boys will follow in my footsteps. The app is uber child friendly and features age appropriate music. It is perfect for parents of small children looking for lullabies for bedtime, music for car journeys and then there’s the playlists that are suitable for older children who are looking for playlists for parties. There is definitely something for everyone. Callum loves the Football Songs whereas Nathan likes the Pop Songs.

I love the app as there is a huge catalogue of songs aimed at young children. There is something for everyone and my boys love it. James loves the Stories section where he can listen to his favourite stories such as Jack and the Beanstalk and The Three Little Pigs.

So if this coming festive season your little ones need some festive tunes or they just fancy a bop around the front room then check out the My Songs app. It really is simple to find and navigate around.
