My Five Favourite Designer Brands
I’ve always been one of those girls who will wear what she likes whether it costs £10 or £1000. I have to be honest and say that I don’t own a lot of high-end luxury clothing and my wardrobe is mainly full of comfortable jeans and jumpers but that doesn’t stop me from dreaming about all the lovely items I will one day get to call my own.
Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs is my go-to perfume of choice. I absolutely love all of the Daisy fragrances and chose Daisy Eau so Fresh as the perfume to wear on my wedding day. I always get a bottle for my birthday and Christmas and sometimes get a new bottle from relatives when they are passing through duty-free in the airport. I do think I need to find a new scent in the future but at the minute I’m happy with my Daisies.
Gucci
Nothing shouts style like an outfit from Gucci. They’re known for their unique style, cuts and quality. I have my eye on a cashmere dress from TheRealReal that would look absolutely amazing with a pair of heels or boots. TheRealReal sells designer goods that are both brand new and preowned. You may be worried about spending a lot of money on designer goods online as there are so many fakes about but you can be assured that you are buying the real deal as they have a team of specialists who authenticate every item of clothing, jewellery and pair of shoes.
Christian Louboutin
So a girl can dream about owning every pair of shoes a designer makes, can’t they? Well for me if I had to choose one it would be Louboutin’s all day long. I love the styles and I very nearly came home with a pair from New York in the July 4th sales – had it not been for that pesky 24-hour delay I’d have been coming home with some beautiful shoes.
Tiffany’s & co
Every girl dreams of owning beautiful jewellery don’t they? well I can honestly say that I didn’t until going to New York and visiting the Tiffany & co Soho store (I didn’t go or see the iconic 5th Avenue store as somehow we totally missed it on our travels – I won’t next time we go though I can tell you that it is already on the bucket list). I fell in love with the beautiful necklaces and rings and have already dropped hints to Matthew that my birthday and Christmas aren’t that far away and if he can’t manage a turquoise box for either of those occasions then our 1st wedding anniversary in July would be the perfect occasion.
Mulberry
I don’t go anywhere without my handbag and I must have at least 10 (well let’s face it we need different styles, colours and types to go with our many different outfits, shoes and coats). But my goal is to own at least one Mulberry handbag. I saw a beautiful one in New York and wished I picked it up before I came home.
What are your favourite designer brands? Perhaps you don’t have a favourite brand but a style do you prefer modern fashion or do you opt for something more unique like Gothic style?
