Dinosaur Train Fun

Last year we were sent some Dinosaur Train toys from Tomy. You can read our review here. Recently we were sent some other toys from the Dinosaur Train range. We were sent the Lights and Sounds Dinosaur Train, some train cars and figures.

Dinosaur Train is a popular television series on Nick Jnr. If your little ones watch this channel then you will probably be aware of the programme – James loves it. The Light and Sounds Train is a 3-car plastic train that features lights and sounds. If you press the yellow funnel on the front of the train you can hear the sounds and see the light on the front of the train. Included is Laura the Gigantosaurus. Laura is a regular on the Dinosaur Train and can be seen in every episode of the TV show. You can buy the train for £14.99.
You can purchase separate train compartments which enable children to collect all of their favourite Dinosaur Train characters and add to their train set collection. Each car is the same colour as the dinosaur that comes in the pack. Prices start at £5.99 for these.

You can buy separate figure packs that can be played with along the trains and extra carriages. As you can see these figures fit in nicely in the train too. Each figure is brightly decorated and different to one and other. They are highly decorated and a lot of effort has been made to ensure that the figures look exactly like their TV counterpart. Each pack of figures is priced at £4.99.

All of the Dinosaur Train toys are suitable for children over 3 years old. This is because they may have small parts. James loves the toys as he loves to watch the TV programme. James will recreate things he has seen from the show or he will make up his own little adventures. I like them because they are good quality toys that provide hours of fun.

You can follow Tomy on Twitter to find out more information about this or other Tomy toys/products. For more information about these toys or similar, you can find out more on the Tomy website.
