Different Ways To Advertise Your Business

Whether your business is brand new, well established or somewhere in between there is no such thing as too much work. You want to be kept busy and you want the orders to keep rolling in.

Advertising is a great way to get your business out there. There are many different types of advertising and the way in which advertising is used has changed so much over the last few years.

Some methods will be more successful than others but unless you try you won’t know which ones will work best for your business.

Different Types of Advertising Include:

Word of mouth and loyalty

Do a good job and the rewards will be tenfold. Customers will keep coming back to you if you provide good customer service and a great end product. Your customers will also recommend you to their friends if they are happy with your work.

Social media and SMS

Almost everyone has a mobile phone and almost all of those users have access to at least one social media platform. You can use this to your advantage by using a company who offer a roaming control service to target your audience. With a roaming control service, your ad is designed and placed right in front of the people you are trying to get to purchase your products or service, on their mobile phones.

On the internet

The internet is big business these days, almost all homes have a computer and almost everyone has access to the internet. You can buy advertising space on other people’s sites or blogs, have your own website and/or blog or advertise on your local newspaper sites. These methods would reach people far and wide.

Billboard

If you live in a big town or city and have a lot of competition advertising on billboards in the centre or on public transport would be a great way to advertise your business this isn’t a cheap option but it will be seen by lots of people.

On the Radio

Our local radio station has an array of adverts throughout its broadcasting. Some are catchy jingles, others are clever play on words. If you are a small company who offer a service within your local area advertising on a couple of local radio stations would be a great way to get your business out there.

On the TV

TV advertising costs big money especially during prime time hours or massive sporting events such as the Olympic games or the SuperBowl if you are a big multinational or international company this may be the perfect medium for you to advertise on.

In Print

Advertising in a local or national newspaper is a great way to tell everyone about your business. You can either have text or an image printed and can usually buy advertising space by the letter or word count or the amount of space taken up for an image.
