Degustabox Review
For the last few months we have been reviewing Degustabox – a subscription service where you are sent a box of food and drink items every month. I would be lying to you if I said I didn’t get a little bit excited when I receive the text message or email saying that my box is on its way. I love the surprises that arrive each month and last months box matched up to previous months expectations.
3 packets of Kracklecorn from Portlebay Popcorn. There are 3 flavours available – Maple syrup & bacon, chilli & lime and Original sweet & salty. All are surprisingly nice tasting – I love the Maple syrup and bacon flavour. 
1 Blueberry and Chocolate Frank Bar. A bar made with 100% natural ingredients. Available in 5 flavours. Free from Gluten, Refined Sugar, Nuts and Dairy. 
A selection of Maggi sachets. Each one was a different flavour. I have never tried these before but I found that the ones we have tried so far are very full in flavour and are great for making a meal all the family will enjoy without making lots of mess preparing them. The boys favourite is the Chicken and Leek Pasta bake, whereas I preferred the Beef and Ale Casserole.
Eton Mess and Violet Crystals sprinkles from Dr Oetker. Ideal for ice creams and cakes. They add the perfect finishing touch to any sweet dish.
3 bottles of ZEO soft drink. Available in 3 flavours – Burst, Crust and Zest. Available to buy from the Co-op, Tesco, Ocado and WHSmiths.
2 bottles of Hornby’s Blueberry Cider. I love cider. It is one of my favourite drinks, it never used to be until I discovered fruit flavoured varieties. This cider is sweet and refreshing and not over powering in taste.
1 bar of Green and Blacks Lemon Chocolate. Made from 60% dark chocolate with a hint of lemon. The perfect treat on a saturday night with a cup of tea in front of the TV.
1 carton of Peach and Lemon Specialty Tea from The Berry Company. Although fruit teas aren’t something I would usually like I really enjoyed trying this.
Degustabox costs pay £12.99 a month (this includes delivery) and each month you will receive a box of 9 – 14 surprise food products – some of which are new products. The value of items in your box will always be more than what you have paid. The value of all the products in my box this month was in excess of £20. However, if you aren’t happy with the service and you wish to cancel your subscription you can do so at any time as you are under no obligation to buy more boxes than you want too.
