Christmas Celebrations With Thorntons

I am what most people would call a chocoholic. I love it and can’t get enough. I don’t have a favourite type I like all chocolate and could possibly eat it all day every day. Luckily for me, Thorntons sent me a selection of their festive chocolates to try.

The first item I spotted was the Thorntons Advent Calendar. This is no ordinary advent calendar and is aimed at the adults who like to take part in the countdown to Christmas.

Throughout December you will find a delicious Thornton’s chocolate and a Christmas fact hiding behind each door. You will find new flavours, old classics and favourites including truffles, caramels and fudges. There is certainly something for everyone. You are even spoilt with an extra door to open on Christmas Day.
A red chocolate box insert displays images and names of assorted chocolates and sweets, each labelled with a description, under the title "moments from Classics." Reminiscent of Thornton's Christmas treats, sweets are organised in rows with colourful wrappers at the bottom.A hand opens two doors on a Thorntons Christmas advent calendar, revealing a chocolate and a biscuit inside. Each door has a trivia fact printed on the inside flap. The red calendar features numbers and ornament designs.
The advent calendar is priced at £9.99 but at the moment it is on offer for £6.66.

The next item that caught my eye was the Christmas in a Box! Now this is the monster of all chocolate boxes and by far the biggest I have ever seen. It contains 100 chocolates. It is perfect for sharing (or maybe not if your greedy).

A purple and white Thorntons Christmas box featuring festive phrases like "Black Forest Gateau," "Spiced Apple Pie," and "Christmas Indulgence," topped with a red snowflake gift tag.

Inside you will find 5 trays each containing 20 different chocolates. There is something for everyone. Matthew loves the Turkish Delight whilst I found a new favourite in the Black Forest Gateau chocolate.

An open box of Thornton’s Christmas assorted chocolates with an informational guide on each side, showing descriptions and images of the festive treats inside. Some chocolates are missing from the box.
This box is priced at £39.99, so it is on the expensive side but I think it is worth it. The net weight of the box is 1230g! I think it would make a lovely thank you gift or a gift for a whole family / work place.

When I was a child every Christmas we used to sit and watch The Snowman on TV. I used to love it and still do. The boys love it just as much and it really helps get them into the Christmas mood. The last item we were sent was a personalised Snowman and snow dog chocolate figure. This is available to buy for £6.99 and is on offer to buy as part of Thornton’s buy three for the price of two – very handy if like me you have more than one child to buy for.

A white chocolate snowman and a small duck, packaged in a wintry-themed Thorntons Christmas box, with a white chocolate name plaque reading “LOUISE” at the top.A white chocolate plaque with the name "LOUISE" written in brown chocolate, placed inside a clear plastic container—perfect as a thoughtful Thorntons Christmas gift.

I love the fact that this is mine and I don’t have to share it with anyone – how do I know because it says so (insert big cheesy grin here). The Personalisation is free on many of Thornton’s products. I love this it adds a little bit of extra thought to a gift for that special someone. I will certainly be going to purchase the boys one of these each to go in their Christmas Eve box. It will make the perfect early present to eat whilst we watch the Snowman on TV.

This is just a very small selection of the items that Thornton’s has to offer this Christmas. You can get more information about these and all their other products on their website. Here you can take advantage of their great offers and have your chocolates delivered to your door.
