Take The Hassle Out Of Giving This Christmas With SwiftGift

Until a couple of weeks ago I had never heard of SwiftGift, but that’s not surprising as it a very new and unique service that has recently launched.

Based in London, SwiftGift is a new social gifting platform designed to take the hassle out of gift giving. Users can send real gifts to anyone, even without knowing their postal address. SwiftGift is perfect to use for any occasion from anniversaries and birthdays to Christmas and other holidays.

You have to register with SwiftGift before you can use the site (you can have a look around before you sign up). But that is really simple to do. Once you are logged in you simply select a recipient using a Facebook-anchored search and then select a gift from the SwiftGift online store (ranging from £5 chocolates to £20,000 diamond-encrusted iPhones – oh I wish….). SwiftGift reaches out to the Recipient to obtain their postal address and dispatches the gifts to them. Gifts arrive beautifully packaged and with a personalized message from the sender, while the recipient’s address remains private and protected from the recipient, and never shared with any third parties.

Recently I was asked to give the SwiftGift service a try. I decided to send Matthew a gift ( a bottle of Dom Perignon). Once I had logged into the website (easy via facebook) I looked for who I wanted to send a gift too (Matthew) I chose a gift to send him (a bottle of bubbly) I wrote a personalised message and then let SwiftGift do its work.

SwiftGift then sent Matthew a Facebook Message via my facebook account asking him to accept his gift within 7 days once. Once he clicked the link he was asked for an address and was given the option to return a gift. It really was as simple as that.

A Facebook Messenger chat shows a message from Louise H, saying Dom Pérignon (2004) was sent via SwiftGift. With 7 days to accept, the note assures it's not spam and invites you to enjoy hassle-free gifts this Christmas by clicking the link.

He received his gift a few days via Royal Mail signed for delivery. His present was beautifully wrapped with my personalised message attached.

SwiftGift is the perfect service for those who don’t have the time to be spending a lot of time shopping or for those who simply can’t leave their house for one reason or another. SwiftGift really do take the hassle out of shopping. I really enjoyed using the service.
