Rug Doctor Carpet Cleaner Review

If you are looking for a rug doctor carpet cleaner review then you’ve come to the right place I can tell you all you need to know about how to hire a rug doctor and how good this carpet cleaner is.

Where to hire a Rug Doctor

You can hire a rug doctor machine from many places including supermarkets such as Morrisons or from home stores like B&Q and Homebase. We hired the machine from our local B&Q store. You can check where your local hire store is here.

How much does it cost to hire a Rug Doctor?

The machine rental costs around £25 for 24 hours and around £30 for 48 hours although you can hire them for longer if needed.

What comes with a Rug Doctor Rental

The Rug Doctor machine should come with a bottle of cleaning detergent and an assortment of accessories so you can clean your upholstery too if needed or desired. You may be able to buy extra detergent at the time of your rental if needed. If you have pets you may want to purchase the Rug Doctor Pet Formula detergent instead and keep a bottle of Rug Doctor Urine Eliminator spray in your cleaning supplies to get rid of small stains between carpet cleans. You can’t and must not use anything but this solution in the machine.

Why hire a Rug Doctor

You can use a Rug Doctor for a number of reasons. You may decide to use one as part of a deep cleaning schedule, at the end of a tenancy or to remove spills and stains from everyday wear and tear.

Our review couldn’t have come at a better time either. We are still in the middle of house training and potty training. Both dog and child are doing exceptionally well but when they first started they had a fair few accidents between them. Although any accidents were cleaned up straight away and no marks were left I still had the feeling that my hallway carpet wasn’t as clean as it should be. There were already some marks on the carpet where mud had been walked in and where a drink had been spilt and stained the carpet badly.

How easy is the Rug Doctor to use

The rug doctor is extremely easy to use and takes little time to set up. you are given full instructions with the machine but you can also access them from the Rug Doctor website should you need further help. We cleaned our hallway, landing and three bedrooms and it took us about an hour and a half maybe even less.

I have to admit that I love the Rug Doctor home carpet shampooer and if I had the room for one I would own one. They are the best carpet cleaners in the world. They work really well and for the price of a rental they really are worth hiring, they make your carpets look 1000% better than they did. We thought our carpets were beyond cleaning as one of the stains was really bad and really noticeable.

If you are interested in buying your own Rug Doctor carpet cleaner you can now purchase a variety of machines to suit all needs – there’s a professional model, a deep cleaning model and a portable spot cleaner.
