High-Heel Mules: Dos and Don’ts

Mules are a great way to add a bit of style and glamour to your look without having to worry about anything falling off or getting caught in your heel. They’re also super comfortable, even if you’re on your feet all day. But…what happens when it’s hot outside? Do you still wear women’s mule heels? YES!

DO: Wear sandals. You can never have enough cute sandals in your life, but they’re not always practical when it’s hot out. Mules are a great way to look stylish without sacrificing comfort—and they’ll keep your feet from getting too sweaty in the heat.

DON’T: Wear them with socks or tights. It might be tempting to keep your feet warm in winter by wearing socks or tights with your mules, but it’s actually a really bad idea for summertime! The material will absorb moisture from your feet and make things even worse than if you’d gone barefoot (which isn’t recommended either). Instead, opt for a good pair of shoes that allow air circulation between the soles of your feet and the ground beneath them so that they stay dry and comfortable all day long!

DO: Wear them with shorts or a skirt. Whether it’s a short skirt or a maxi, mules will look great with any outfit that shows off your legs.

DON’T: Be afraid to go bold. If you want to wear something really fun and colourful with your mules, go for it! You can even try pairing them with bold patterns if that’s your style.

DO: Wear them with jeans! No matter what kind of jeans you like (high-waisted or low-rise), mules look great when paired with denim. Just make sure there aren’t too many layers between your foot and the shoe – you want to feel like you’re walking on air when wearing these shoes!

DON’T: Avoid wearing shoes that are too tall for your feet. This can cause pain and damage to your feet over time. Make sure that any shoes you buy have a heel height no higher than 2 inches.

Bottomline

When it comes to wearing mules in the summertime, there really are plenty of dos and don’ts. But if you stick to the dos and if you avoid certain no-no’s, you should be able to wear your mules with confidence all summer long. And remember: the most important do of them all is to have fun and wear what you love!
