Degustabox Review
My Three and Me love reviewing Degustabox. Every month we are sent a box of delicious foods. I look forward to my delivery as each box is full of surprise food items. I get really excited when I receive an email telling me that my delivery is scheduled as I can’t wait to see what the box has inside. This months box was full of delicious healthy food.
Degustabox is a monthly subscription service. You pay £12.99 (this includes delivery) and each month you will receive a box of 9 – 14 surprise food products – some of which are new products. The value of items in your box will always be more than what you have paid. However, if you aren’t happy with the service and you wish to cancel your subscription you can do so at any time as you are under no obligation to buy more boxes than you want too.
Inside this months box there was the following:
One bottle of Alfa One Rice Bran Oil (£2.00). One of the healthiest and most versatile cooking oils, it is perfect to use in any dish and better for you than vegetable and sunflower oils as it is high in natural antioxidants such as Vitamin E and Gamma Oryzanol which is a naturally occurring plant sterol which has been shown to reduce cholesterol.
One carton of Koko Dairy Free (£1.39), a unique alternative to cow’s milk that’s made with freshly pressed coconut milk. It contains fewer calories than skimmed milk and is 100% allergen free. It tastes like cow’s mlk when used on cereal or in cooking and it won’t curdle in hot drinks like tea and coffee.
One pot of Kabuto Noodles (£2.00). Available in seven flavours Kabuto Noodles are a mix of authentic Asian flavours and quality ingredients, prepared with the skill, discipline and dedication of a Samurai warrior. Perfect to eat when celebrating the new Chinese year next week.
One box of Sukrin Cake Mix (£5.00). This is a sugar free, free from cake mix. You can use it on it’s own to make a plain cake or add your favourite ingredients as it makes a great base for other flavoured cakes. Once made your cake will contain 80% less carbohydrates than a normal cake.
One packet of Finn Crispbread (£1.20), Made from all natural ingredients and wholegrain, these crispbread are high in fibre, vitamins and antioxidants. They are low in fat and have a distinctive taste due to being baked in sourdough.
One bottle of Magners Light (£1.25). Each bottle contains 103 cals and are a welcome addition to the range of Magners already available in the shops. Orchard Berries is the first new flavour to be released and is available in a 4 bottle pack from Tesco stores.
One carton of Simplee Aloe (£1.79), an all natural, never from concentrate Aloe Vera drink. Blended Aloe with a fresh grape juice and a dash of lemon to create a very healthy and tasty drink.
Two bottles of Little Miracles organic tea (£1.49 each). Each bottle contains a blend of organic tea, fruit juice and ginseng. As they are sweetened with agave, each bottle contains less than 90 cals and contains no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners. the drinks are non carbonated and refreshing – a perfect little pick me up any time of the day.
Two pots of Morningflake Top Porridge (£1.19 each), the perfect way to start your day. You can choose between different flavoured pots either Golden Syrup or Nutella, you can add as much as you like as the portions are seperated perfect for those who like less (or more) sweetness in their porridge. They are perfect to eat on the go or make if you’ve an early morning in the office. Available from Waitrose stores nationwide.
One jar of Haywards Piccalilli (££1.89), a firm favourite in our house as it can be used to make sandwiches, burgers and even summer barbecues more exciting.
A sample of Clipper Green Tea. A box containing 10 green tea with lemon teabags. A light and refreshing drink, perfect for detoxing and cleansing your body.
