The Bake-A-Wish Competition
This October Fairy are once again partnering up with Make-A-Wish® UK – the charity that grants magical wishes to enrich the lives of children fighting life-threatening conditions.
This year their aim is to encourage as many people across the nation as possible to get their baking hats on and share their festive recipes. Together they have launched the Bake-A-Wish Competition.
If you’d like to enter the Bake-A-Wish Competition all you need to do is share your best festive cake recipe before 23rd October over on the Super Savvy Me website. Your recipe can be as creative as you like. My Three and me are planning on entering the competition ourselves and will be sharing with you later in the week our very own festive cake recipe.
All the entries will be whittled down to just five finalists. These five will then be invited to London (travel and accommodation paid for) to bake their recipes for a celebrity judge. The final winner’s recipe will go on sale at a giant bake sale at Westfield, London and enough of their recipe will be baked to feed 12,000 people to raise money for Make-A-Wish® UK. For every plate washed over the bake sale weekend, Fairy will donate £10 to Make-A-Wish UK. The aim is to wash a massive 12,000 plates with just one bottle of Fairy – how incredible is that?? – I, however, don’t want to be the one doing all that washing up… The winner will also win a weekend trip to London to be photographed with their cake, two nights stay in a 3 star London hotel, a Westfield voucher worth £100 and £200 spending money.
