Scholastic are also running a competition. If you tell them which book you’d choose to give a child and why using the hashtag #GiveABook by 16th December, they will pick their three favourite posts and donate a book-laden sack worth £50 to a school or nursery of the winners’ choice

To enter the competition, all you need to do is tell them which children’s book you’d love to give to a child this Christmas and why tagging Scholastic and using the hashtag #GiveABook. The three winners will be able to nominate their chosen school or nursery to receive a £50 credit to their Scholastic account, which can be exchanged for free books. Entries need to be made by midnight on Friday 16th December. Make sure you tag Scholastic on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
