What Was In Our Autumn Degustabox

Regular readers will know that we have been receiving a box full of delicious food items on a monthly basis for some time now and every month we can’t wait to see what the box will contain. If you’ve not heard about Degustabox let me tell you a little about them. They are a monthly subscription food box service. Each month you pay £12.99 (this includes delivery) in return you will receive between 9 – 14 surprise food products, items vary each month and some of them are new products. The value of your box will always be more than what you have paid. However, if you aren’t happy with the service and you wish to cancel your subscription you can do so at any time as you are under no obligation to buy more boxes than you want too.

In This Box:

Green & Black’s Velvet Edition – A new addition to the massively popular Green & Black’s range. Their specialists have expertly crafted this 70% dark chocolate using the finest Ghanaian cocoa and M adagascan Vanilla to ensure that the finished product is delicate in flavour and has a soft texture. The chocolate is rich in cocoa content and smooth in flavour.

Nestle Cheerios Oat Crisp – Deliciously crunchy flakes made with whole grain oats and mixed with Cheerios this is a cereal the whole family will enjoy. High in fibre and low in saturated fat its also a healthy alternative to other cereals and can help keep your heart healthy too. 

Latin American Kitchen by Santa Maria – rice and sauces from South America. Each rice and sauce can be mixed and matched with one of 5 varieties. A quick and easy way to liven up any meal time.

Knorr Concentrated Stock – A new product from Knorr. The Rich Beef concentrated liquid stock is made with real beef extract, is gluten free and free from artificial preservatives. Add a couple of drops to your bolognese sauce or use to create a lovely stock for casseroles and soups.

Virtue Energy Drink – contains no sugar and no calories. Each drink contains the same amount of natural caffeine as a cup of coffee. Ingredients include sparkling water, natural fruit flavours and energy. For every can sold Virtue donate 500cl clean drinking water.

San Miguel Gluten Free – Enjoy of San Miguel – same great taste just gluten free. Available from Tesco. Each bottle contains 4.5%ABV.

Mentos Mint Mix Sharing Pouch – A share bag containing a delicious mix of Peppermint and Spearmint flavoured Mentos. The pouch is resealable.

Dream Ancient Grains / Dream Rice Quinoa – the perfect milk replacement. Can be enjoyed in a smoothie or on its own too. Contains no added sugar but added calcium and vitamins.

Wild Planet Albacore Wild Tuna Steaks – Ranked number one in the US by Greenpeace for sustainability this tuna is 100% pole and line caught. Hand picked and cooked just once to retain the natural juices in the can.

Seriously Spreadable Squares – perfect for adding to any lunchbox or picnic. Made from award winning Extra Mature Scottish Cheddar. They can be spread on crackers or bread to make a lovely lunch.

Green’s Egg Custard Mix – create a classic desert with minimal fuss. Make the egg custard as per the pack instructions and add a precooked pastry base and a dusting of nutmeg to recreate a dish everyone will love.
