All The Things My Three and Me are Loving This Month

This last month has been a little bit on the crazy side for us – don’t get me wrong it’s been the good kind of crazy but still crazy none the less. The boys have been back in school for a couple of weeks and they are enjoying their Easter Holidays.

Things we are all loving

Spring is finally here, the sun is shining and the world seems like a better place for it don’t you think? I’ve had washing on the line outside and its drying without the need to be finished in the tumble dryer, we’ve cut the lawn for the first time this year and my tulip bulbs are starting to flower.

As its the Easter holidays we’re planning on lots of lazy days and even a movie day or two. Callum turns 16 at the end of the week – which is absolutely crazy as it doesn’t seem like two minutes since he was born. he has plans for a takeaway, chocolate cake and a shopping trip once the shops reopen properly to buy new trainers, jeans and a coat.

Things I’m loving

  • Meeting People – I am over the moon that we can now meet up with one other household outdoors. As already mentioned it is Callum’s birthday this week so that means we will finally get to see some of our friends and family (socially distanced of course). I am looking forward to wearing some of my loungewear sets from Femmeluxe in the garden – they are perfect for the nicer days and cooler nights. I have also been looking at their going out tops ready for when we can go out properly – hello pubs and nightclubs in June.

  • Reading – just like last month I have been busy reading. I took out a free months trial to Kindle Unlimited and Audible so that I can get the best of both worlds. I’ve never really been an audiobook person but I am going to try to listen to a book or two (or perhaps a podcast instead) whilst I work as I find myself watching TV and watching that instead of working.
  • Watching TV – Speaking of TV now that the boys are back in school I have finally started making a dent in the massive backlog of programmes that have sat on our TV box – some since as far back as last February – I know. I know I need to really get a move on with either watching or deleting some of them.
