Anyone who knows me knows that my chest area is not small in fact a few weeks ago when I was measured I was told that I needed a 40F sized bra. Usually, I don’t like to have my body on show, in fact, I hide it away as much as possible as having three children has not been kind to my stomach area at all but this year when My Three and Me have been to the beach I decided to only think about what I thought. I wore a bikini for the first time since I was a size 10 teenager.
Have you ever tried to find bras in anything over a D in the normal shops? and don’t even talk to me about finding swimwear that allows for big boobs – they are almost impossible to find. That was until I discovered Lily and Lime. They cater for ladies who wear a D cup and up and their sizes start from a 32D. They offer different styles of swimwear in many different designs so there is something to suit every body shape and size, if you like plain designs you’ll find them but if you’re after something more vibrant they have that too. If you want to cover your tummy they have one piece or tankini’s available and if a bikini is what you’re after you can choose between a balconette, full bust, bandeau and many others, you can also choose which type of bikini bottom you’d prefer in sizes 8-22. They are the perfect mix and match site as you buy your top and bottom separately. This is perfect for those of us who aren’t just a size 10 or 12 all over. I am loving the Suzani Indigo Full Brief, Bikini Top and Tankini.
With the boys heading back to school, it’s time for me to get my head back in the game and get exercising again. I am planning to carry on with my 30-day shred DVDs and start the couch to 5k app from the start and run 3 days a week. I have set myself a target of losing a stone and a half by Christmas and if I achieve it (which I will) I will join a gym to help keep me motivated and lose weight in time for New York next year.
One of the things I find really hard is drinking enough water. This has always been an issue for me and I’m not really sure why. But this is something I am working hard to change as I know how important it is to aiding weight loss and general well being. I have been using the Ion8 sports water bottle for the last week and it has helped increase my water intake so far. I will be making sure I take it on my runs and school runs and at my side during my DVD sessions. It is 100% leak-proof, has a vented and smooth liquid flow. The bottles are available in blue and pink. Each drinking bottle is odour resistant, BPA free, phthalate free, non-toxic, Dishwasher safe and suitable for hot and cold drinks from -10C to 96C. Even perfect for lunchboxes.
Bird Feeders and Houses
With the weather changing it’s time to start providing for our garden visitors again. Last year our garden was home to squirrels, blackbirds, robins and sparrows – we’ve still seen plenty of the sparrows but not so much of the others but as the colder weather arrives I just know that they will be back. I always love to leave them plenty of nuts and seeds out so they can help themselves. These handmade hanging birdhouse’s and bird feeders from Alfresia are perfect and will look so cute in our garden. I can’t wait to see if we have any baby birds in the birdhouse next springtime. These items would make perfect Christmas presents for those hard to buy for friends and relatives who love their wildlife and gardens.
In summer I hate having baths and almost always opt for a shower, I never feel as relaxed when the weather is warm even if I have them late at night. When its cooler on a night there is nothing better than having a soak in a hot bath. It leaves me all relaxed and ready for a good nights sleep. Olverum Bath Oil is a unique and luxurious aromatic blend of essential oils designed to ease stress and relax tension in both your mind and body. As the bath oil is highly concentrated you only need use half a capful (5ml)per bath and as almost all the oil is absorbed by the skin it leaves no greasy residue in the bath after use.
When it gets colder I always find that we head to bed earlier on a night. There is nothing better than chilling out in our comfy bed when it’s cold and miserable outside. I can read my books with a cuppa whilst Matthew catches up with all of his recorded TV programmes. This month I am loving the new range of bedding sets available from Caprice. They are practical and stylish and are perfect for adding a touch of glamour to any bedroom. Stockists include Very, Wayfair, Next and Dunelm.
Sometimes it’s nice to have a treat. My treat this month has been Haribo Frenzy Mixes. They are perfect to share (or keep all to yourself – there is no judgement here). The Frenzy packs are available in two varieties:
- HARIBO Frenzy Starmix Fruit Punch – Combining an exciting blend of fruit flavours including cherry and lime, apple and elderflower and strawberry and rhubarb with the iconic and much-loved pieces, Starmix Fruit Punch will bring the spirit of summer to any occasion.
- HARIBO Frenzy Tangfastics Fruit Spritzers – For fans who prefer a little more fizz, Tangfastics Fruit Spritzers feature a sparkling mix of fruit flavours including blueberry and lemon, raspberry and pineapple and apple and pomegranate.
