Father’s Day Gift Ideas

I can’t believe Father’s Day is just a couple of weeks away. This year is really starting to fly by. I don’t know about you but buying for the men in my life is always a task. I find them so hard to buy for whether it’s a birthday, Christmas or another special occasion. This year though I am prepared and I’ve already bought them their gifts.

If you’re struggling for gift ideas yourself take a look at my list below, hopefully, they will help you.

Chocolate or Sweets  – Who doesn’t love chocolate. If you’re struggling for gift ideas you could always buy your dad the biggest bar of his favourite chocolate that you can find. We usually end up buying my dad a bag of Jelly Babies and a box of Jaffa cakes to go alongside his present as he loves them both.

Socks – Socks are always a good gift if you’ve no clue what to buy. They are always useful and if your dad’s anything like mine he will go through tons of pairs of socks – I don’t know what he does but they always end up full of holes.

A Razor – Give dad a Wilkinson Sword’s Hydro 5 Sense razor this Father’s Day. The Hydro 5 Sense* features a built-in shock absorber and a trimmer. The razor is designed to leaving skin feeling energized. Thanks to its shock absorber the Hydro 5 Sense is built to address irritation head-on and allows for a close shave.

Beer – Another go-to gift idea for my dad is beer. He is always happy with a couple of bottles of beer from My Three and Me. A couple of bottles of Krombacher Pils would be a lovely gift. This beer is characterised by the water it is brewed with. Krombacher Pils has a distinctive, finely bitter taste and a full-flavoured aroma and has an alcohol content of 4.8 %.

A USB Stick – With the new laws regarding GDPR being rolled out recently we all know how important it is to keep personal data safe. if your dad works with data why not buy him a USB stick that is sure to be a big hit with him. The iStorage datAshur Personal2* is an easy to use and affordable USB 3.0 flash drive, that has PIN code access. Any data that is transferred to the USB stick is encrypted in real-time with the built-in hardware encryption engine. It is protected from unauthorised access even if it is lost or stolen. Users can choose a passcode between 7-15 digits to ensure that all their data is kept safe.

A Personalised Mug – Why not give your dad/grandad a personalised china latte mug. you can personalise the mug with any name up to 12 characters on the front e.g. Dad, Grandad and add your own personal message on the reverse over 4 lines and up to 20 characters per line. The wording ‘World’s Best’* is the standard text on this mug. If the man in your life is an angler I’m sure he would be thrilled with his own personalised mug saying he is the fishing king*. These mugs and lots of other designs are available from Born Gifted.

A DashCam – Why not considering buying your dad a dash cam. It will give both you and him peace of mind whilst he’s on the road. The Nextbase 312GW* has in-built Wi-Fi which allows motorists of all ages to instantly and easily upload footage to their social media channels, their insurer or even the police via the Nextbase app. After using the Wi-Fi to connect to an iOS or Android device, the Nextbase app becomes your personal mobile store for footage you want to keep or share. I live 80 miles away from my dad so we don’t get to see each other as often as we’d like. I always try to get to see him on special occasions so that I can give him his gifts in person, however, this isn’t always possible. A few years ago he waited for over a month before we got to see him with them. If I’d thought about it I could have had his gifts sent via a courier so that he could’ve enjoyed them on Father’s Day. I will definitely remember this if we aren’t going to get to see him this year. The great thing about sending the gifts via a courier is that they will arrive on time and that they offer a parcel tracking service. This gives you peace of mind as you can see where your parcel has been and when it is due to arrive.
