Recently we were sent a Miele G4930SC Dishwasher from AO.com to review. It came just at the right time as we were in need of a new one as ours was on the blink. Although it’s not an essential appliance I couldn’t be without one and would highly recommend anyone buying one if you have space in your kitchen.
On first glance, the dishwasher looks stylish and easy to use with its push buttons. It has an LED screen to show you how much time is left on the wash cycle. It has five different wash cycles to choose from so there is always going to be the perfect cycle for whatever you need to wash – The quick wash function is a handy feature when you are in a rush. But no matter which setting you use your dishes always come out clean.
The dishwasher is a standard size but don’t let that fool you as to how much it can hold inside. It can wash up to 14 place settings at once and it has a very clever cutlery tray that has a little area for utensils, which is just amazing as it means you can stack items in the drawer. The area can be pulled down so that it is a little deeper for larger utensils too. This is a great feature as it also frees up space on the drawers for other items. The cutlery drawer slides to one side too so that you wash larger items underneath. This is great for our house as we use a lot of tall glasses. Another thing that is great for our household is that the middle rack is height adjustable, as our plates are bigger than normal sized dinner plates (we didn’t realise until we brought the dinner set home from the shop – but it was a bargain at £10 for a stoneware dinner set from Wilkos so we won’t complain about this minor detail) they don’t fit in when the racks are in the normal position but we just use the dishwasher with the middle rack on the highest level.
It also has a Perfect GlassCare programme, which adapts the water quality to give your glassware a gentle clean. Another great feature is its ComfortClose door, which shuts gently to prevent trapped fingers. I love that the machine has also been tested for the equivalent of 20 years’ use.

- Delayed start
- Child lock
- Half load mode
- Low salt and rinse aid indicators
- Height adjustable rack, shelves and utensil

Overall, I would highly recommend the dishwasher, it is extremely quiet, has enough room all your dirty dishes, pots and pans and I really, really love the utensil rack with its ability to move the rack so that taller glasses can fit in perfectly. It is currently on sale for £699.
We have used AO.com on a number of occasions in the past and would highly recommend them. They are often one of the first websites we visit. They are always competitive on price and even have price match policies (check online to see for yourselves) to ensure that you always get the best deal. If you need your new appliances installed or your old ones to be taken away this can also be arranged for you for a small fee and they will always do their best to deliver on a day that is convenient for you.
