Next weekend sees the first Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder event of the year taking place in London.
Mini Mudder is a 1-mile obstacle course mud run designed specifically for adventure-seeking kids. The course gives kids the chance to work as a team, get muddy, and experience the thrill of adventure – it sounds like lots of fun don’t you think?
Unfortunately, this first event is too far for us to attend and James is still too young to take part, but that hasn’t stopped the boys getting into the spirit of things and as we were sent some fun gifts we thought we’d make our own obstacle race in the garden so that we could have some fun of our own. We were sent some fabric paints so we could design our own t-shirts, Fruit Shoot drinks, bean bags and cones.
Our obstacle course was made up of two laps around the garden, throwing beanbags in a bucket, dribbling a ball twice through a set of cones to finally score a goal in the football nets. My Three had lots of fun and have even been making other courses in the garden whilst the weather has been so nice.
There are many Mini Mudder events taking place throughout the year in different parts of the UK (it run alongside the Tough Mudder events). If you’d like to sign your little Mudder up for one of the events you can check out where the nearest event to you is here. All children wanting to take part must be between the ages of 7 – 12 and over 1.1m (3.5 foot) tall.
