Today is World Book Day and parents up and down the country have been dressing their little ones up as their favourite book characters. We have been doing the same here too and I have to say the boys have had so much fun deciding which costume to wear. Up until this year, I have always found it hard to find costumes for boys to dress up in, there is so much choice for girls and it sometimes feels that boys are just an afterthought. This year though there seems to plenty of choice and I for one am happy to see the change. Thanks to Tickled Pink, Callum has been very lucky and has had the choice of two costumes to wear and I think he makes a very handsome Harry Potter and Where’s Wally.
The Harry Potter Kit we were sent comes with a cloak, wand and glasses – everything any wannabe Harry Potter needs. Harry Potter is one of my favourite book characters and book series of all time so I was over the moon when Callum chose this costume.
When I was little my brother had a huge collection of Where’s Wally books we used to spend hours looking for him and even now the boys love looking at the books when they visit my mum’s house. The Where’s Wally costume comes with a hat, glasses, top and trousers so that your child can transform into Where’s Wally in a matter of seconds.
Tickled Pink has an extensive range of costumes and accessories for both adults and children. They are reasonably priced, with prices starting from £9.99 and they even offer a student discount. The costumes we were sent are made from good quality materials and will certainly last for more than one World Book Day. The Tickled Pink website is easy to navigate and ordering couldn’t be easier. Items are delivered within a couple of days so you’re not left waiting too long for your items.
