Picking A Halloween Costume

Halloween is just around the corner and My Three are getting really excited that I have now said it’s time to start thinking about their Trick or Treat costumes. When I was younger we didn’t really celebrate Halloween and it wasn’t that much of a big deal but all of the boys friends dress up or go to parties and My Three are really looking forward to going out with their friends.

My Three love Star Wars so when Nathan spotted these costumes from The Disney Store he got really excited especially when I told him that the Darth Vader costume was on offer (£20 down £15). He is usually the more difficult to please when dressing up as he feels out of his comfort zone so finding something that he would actually wear without feeling uncomfortable is always a winner in my eyes.

I absolutely adore Snow White and I so wish I was young again just to be able to wear this Maleficent Outfit or perhaps it should be available in a size to fit me. I think I would make the perfect Disney Villain this Halloween and who doesn’t love her headdress and shoes? or maybe I’d look better as a Princess… Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Jasmine to name but a few there are so many to choose from I don’t think I could possibly choose just one.

Although all of these costumes are a little more expensive than ones you’d find from other retailers they are made to last and as they aren’t Halloween specific they can be worn any time of the year – which is perfect when you have children that love to dress up. They also come in handy if / when your child’s school asks them to come to school in dress up (which ours do at least once a year). If you think about it although you may have paid a little extra for their costumes they become pretty cost effective once they have been worn a few times and still look as great as they did the first time they were worn.
