Our #PlasticineSofteez Twitter Party

Today My Three and Me held our #PlastercineSofteez Twitter Party. The weather was on our side for a change so we made the most of it by having our party in the garden. I spent all morning preparing party food and filling goody bags ready for our guests arriving at 2pm. Our party lasted just over two hours and boy did we cram a lot into those two hours.

Once the boy’s friends had arrived we got to work on our first activity. The 6 children were split up in to two groups of three. Each group was given a Under The Sea Plasticine Softeez kit and asked to create an under water scene using the tools and plasticine within the kit. Whilst they were busy creating their pieces we all spoke about the creatures they were making and what other things they would find under the sea. Nathan and his friend where both very good at this as they have recently been doing a topic at school about the seaside and what creatures they will find both in and out of the water.

Our next activity was to have a little free play session with lots of different coloured Plasticine Softeez. We were very proud of our creations. After this we had our party food. Our under the sea sandwiches were a huge hit with our guests and they were very impressed with our special cake.

Our last activity was to create our very own cupcakes using the Plasticine Softeez Cupcake Creations kit. The children all got to work creating their masterpieces and had a lot of fun trying to create different “toppings” on their cakes.

Before our guests left we gave them a goody bag each. Inside was some Plasticine, Plasticine Softeez samples, sweets and some a little toy. I hope they all had as much fun as I had. It’s been a long, tiring day but one that has definitely been worth the hard work. I can’t wait until our next Twitter Party.

What I really liked about the Plasticine Softeez is that it is really soft from the minute you pick it up. Even after playing with it for a while it hadn’t dried out. It was very malleable and was easy to make into any shape that we wanted it to be. I will definitely be recommending this product to my mummy friends who have little ones that love to get creative. Plasticine has long since been a favourite with my boys and I am sure that the Softeez varieties will also become favourites too.
