Every woman wants to look her best but especially when a special occasion arises or when on a night out. As the mum of 3 boys with flabby bits all over I hate going out when I have to wear a dress as nothing I wear suits my figure. I am very top heavy but have a real bulge around my middle too – I am always self conscious of how I look and no matter how much I try not too I always find myself worrying about how I look. Recently I was sent some new items from the ENVYSIBLE shapewear range to try.

The new ENVYSIBLE Slip (£14.99) is available in two colours, black and nude. The slip enhances and sculpts your figure and because you can wear your own bra your bust won’t be flattened. Its ribbed knitted control zones target problem areas such as the waistline, hips and stomach. They help smooth and shape your tummy instantly. The side shaping panels help to smooth your hips and thighs. I like that the slip is held in place by two straps, sits comfortably under your bust and has a silicone strip at the bottom ensuring that it doesn’t ride up under your clothes.

There are other items in the ENVYSIBLE range including jeans, a body shaper, high waist thigh shaper and leggings (£14.99). All are available in sizes 12/14 (medium) to 24/26 (XXL). I was sent a medium pair of leggings to try and they really do pull you in and are a snug fit. Make sure you check the size chart before buying to make sure you get the right size for  you. I do like the leggings though. They flatter my legs and thighs and suck in all my flabby bits that seem to gather just above my hips. The leggings are high-waisted and feature a special built-in invisible shaper that makes you look slimmer. They have a built-in silicone waistband so they won’t roll down. They are made from 95% nylon and 5% elastane.

What I like about the new ENVYSIBLE range of Shapewear is that the items not only give you support but they look great too. There is nothing worse than wearing something that looks horrible. I don’t know about you but that just adds to the pressure of trying to look nice. Shapewear is nothing new (my mum swears by a good pair of “hold me in pants”) but I do think there has been a massive gap for items that are affordable, good quality and that do a good job.

We have been invited to a wedding in a couple of weeks, I have seen a lovely dress that I would never normally wear but with my new shapewear I can’t wait.
