Britains Farm Toys

Britains have been making quality farm toys for over 90 years. Their toys are popular with both children and collectors. Britains has a wide range of toys available and many of the 1:32 scale models include machinery from JCB, Land Rover, Ifor Williams, John Deere and many more. TRecently James was sent a Land Rover, Trailer and Sheep Set (£20.99), an Ifor Williams Livestock Trailer ( £13.99), a Keenan Diet Feeder Wagon (£16.99), a JCB 3230 Fastrac Tractor (£19.99) and a set of Sheep (£4.99).

What I love about these products is that they are exactly the same as their life-size namesakes. Every little fine detail is covered perfectly from the wheels, nameplates and head lights they are exact replicas just on a smaller scale – it is easy to see why they are so popular. The farm vehicles are made of die-cast metal and plastic whilst the farm accessories and animals are made of good quality plastic.

James’ best friend’s Grandad lives on a farm so when they had a play date in the summer holidays they were both pretending that they were on the farm too. They loved that they could transport the sheep in the two trailers and that both of the trailers could both be attached to either the Land Rover or Tractor, so they could swap the toys and they could still play together. As it was a sunny day the boys played with the toys in the garden – these toys plus all the others that Britains have to offer can be played both in and outside too.

Whether these toys are going to be played with by little hands or kept as part of a collection they are sure to withstand the test of time. You can find more information about these toys and other toys on the Tomy website. You can also follow Tomy on Twitter for competitions, special offers and lots more.
