Chocolate from The East India Company

I am a huge fan of chocolate. You may have noticed this by some of the posts that I have written in the past. I also like to try different types of chocolate – especially the chocolate that has a unique flavour or texture. Recently we were sent some amazing chocolates to try from The East India Company. I was sent some White Chocolate Enrobed Strawberries and a bar of Fine Milk Chocolate with Nutmeg.

The first chocolate that I tried was the White Chocolate Enrobed Strawberries. These are priced at £7.95 for 150g. I enjoyed eating these chocolates as an after dinner snack with a cup of tea whilst reading my book. They were the perfect treat as you only needed to eat two or three to feel satisfied from the chocolate buzz.

The strawberries are freeze dried and covered in white Belgian chocolate. The richness of the chocolate takes a way the tartness of the strawberries. It is a lovely combination and one that melts in your mouth.
If you like your chocolate to have a bit of a twist then you really need to give the Fine Milk Chocolate with Nutmeg. Each bar is priced at £5. It is luxurious chocolate and is to be eaten slowly to enjoy its full flavour. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first looked at the chocolate bar but to my surprise the taste was amazing. All my taste buds were left tingling from the nutmeg.

I liked both of these chocolates that we received. But I would definitely say that they are aimed at adults as the boys didn’t like them at all. They are the perfect gift to send to someone who loves different tastes or unusual gifts. For more products similar to these take a look on The East India Website.
