Minecraft Paper Craft Shelter Pack

I have to be honest and say I have never paid much attention to Minecraft before being asked to write this review. It is something I have heard Callum mention and talk about with his friends but nothing more than that. He informed me that Minecraft is in fact a video game and in his words one that is very cool – I will take his word for this.
We were sent the Minecraft Paper Craft Shelter Pack. This is based on the video game. According to Callum the aim of the game is to build different things but before you can build you need to collect building materials. You can chop down trees for wood, shear sheep for wool, and mine for the ores and metals you need to construct your house or other building. Every Minecraft player needs to build some sort of shelter at some point – whether it’s made of dirt and wood, or a fine brick house with fancy glass windows. This pack contains everything you need to make your shelter.
Inside the box you will find everything you need to build your shelter. There are over 48 pieces included. Below is a list of everything that you will find.
  • Steve
  • Tame wolf
  • Two furnaces
  • Two wooden doors
  • 18 wooden plank blocks
  • Six brick blocks
  • Two glass blocks
  • 12 cobblestone blocks
  • Sheet of stickers
  • Minecraft mortar paper tape
Everything comes ready to be made. There is no cutting, gluing or anything messy needed. The set enables children to get creative without the need of using messy materials – now this is my type of craft activity I hate having sticky messy things everywhere. Each piece is really simple to press out and then create as all the lines that need folding are already creased. The instructions are really simple to follow and Callum had no problems making them. The only help he needed from me was creating Steve and the Tame Wolf as they are both made up of separate blocks that need to be fixed together.
You can buy this set from all good toy stockists for around Β£13.00. There are also other packs you can purchase and make to add to your collection so you can add to your Minecraft world.
*I did not receive a financial payment for writing this review. However, I was sent these products for the purpose of this review, all thoughts and opinions expressed in this piece are my own*
