Degustabox Review

A couple of weeks ago our monthly food subscription box from Degustabox arrived on our doorstep. Degustabox costs just £12.99 (this includes delivery) a month. Inside every box, there are 9 – 14 surprise food and drink products. The products vary from month to month and some of them are foods that are new to the market. The value of your box will always be more than what you have paid. However, if you aren’t happy with the service and you wish to cancel your subscription you can do so at any time as you are under no obligation to buy more boxes than you want too.

What’s Inside:
Merisant – Canderel (£3.00). Sugarly is new to the Canderel range. It tastes and looks just like sugar but has zero calories. You can add it to hot drinks, sprinkle on cereal and in your favourite recipes.
Diageo Pimms – Cider (£2.29). A crisp and refreshing drink that combines traditional English cider and Pimms. Enjoy poured over ice. It’s best served chilled and tastes even better on a lovely summers evening in the company of friends.
Levi Roots – Coat n Cook Marinade (£1.00) Simply pour over chicken, ribs or fish and cook straight away with no need for marinating. Available in 3 flavours – Jerk, Ginger Beer and Smokey BBQ. Available from Waitrose and Sainsburys.
Popchips – Crisps (£1.99) New to the Popchips range are two new flavours – sea salt, garlic & rosemary and salt, caramelised onion & thyme. Both limited edition flavours are full of flavour and deliver a naturally delicious, lighter alternative snack to crisps as they contain less than half the fat.
Thor Drinks – Mint/ Apple Soft Drink (£1.99), A drink made from Derbyshire spring water that’s designed to deal with the hustle and bustle of modern life. The unique amino acid profile has been shown to help the immune system and build a natural resilience to stress, depression and anxiety.
Veetee – Basmati Rice and Wholegrain + Quinoa Rice (£1.49 & £1.29). Veetee microwaveable rice range is the perfect mealtime solution. These portions are great when making a meal from scratch or when trying to liven up leftovers. They are ready in just two minutes.

Parle – Parle G (29p) is the largest selling biscuit brand in the world. Perfect to share. There’s nothing better than a biscuit and a cup of tea.

Green Lady – Sparkling Tea (£1.99) A modern restyling of an ancient drink using Green Darjeeling tea leaves and other natural ingredients – used to create a calming and entertaining alternative to alcohol – a healthy drink with style.
