Tea Time Old El Paso Style

When My Three were younger we went through many stages of eating. We went through the stage of being very good eaters when they were small to very fussy eaters when they gained a little independence. Now they are back to being very good eaters and will eat anything again. They love all type of food and will always try anything put in front of them including vegetables and meats. They may not always like what they try but at least they gave it a go. They also have a love for international foods and are happy when a plate of Chinese, Indian or Mexican food is placed in front of them. We save these meals for our treat nights during the school holidays or on a weekend.

Mexican food experts Old El Paso are passionate about bringing food to families and making meal times enjoyable for the family. Their meal kits, jars, sauces and accompaniments are great for stocking up on for such occasions. I love that there is a wide variety of products to suit my families tastes from mild, medium to hot spiced foods – great for us as the boys like mildly spiced food and Matthew and I like ours with a little more of a kick. All their foods are full of bright colours, flavours, herbs & spices and fragrant blends.

The boys love it when I make fajitas as they can “create” their own, James prefers chicken and a little lettuce and salsa in his whilst Callum loves his loaded with everything – Peppers, onions, chicken, sour cream, salsa and salad too.

Another one of the boys favourite meals is Enchiladas as they’re full of melted cheese, tomato sauce and chicken. They are so quick and easy to make and are ready in next to no time at all – a real winner in our house when we’ve been out all day and want a quick comfort food fix.

Matthew is away fishing for the bank holiday weekend so the boys and I are planning on a movie day and junk food feast (well them not me as I’m on a healthy eating mission) but they have requested fajitas, nachos and dips. I’m sure we’ll all have a lovely weekend.
