This last couple of weeks the weather has been really rotten here. It has turned cold and damp and rather wet and windy. I hate this type of weather especially on the days when I have to do the school runs. We have come to terms with the fact that the summer is over and that winter is now well on its way and our summer clothes have been all put away now and have been replaced with our winter warmers.
My usual winter look consists of a jumper, skinny jeans, Ugg boots, scarf, gloves and a coat. I have been looking at getting a new winter coat for a while because due to losing some weight the one I had last year is now too big for me.
When looking for a new coat I always make sure that it is something that goes with anything, is lightweight but warm and has plenty of pockets for things like my keys, phone and my purse.
Get The Label have many coats and jackets too choose from but one that caught my eye was the Lucca Short Parka Jacket from Only. Priced at £29.99 and available in sizes 6 – 14 this jacket is perfect for the horrible blustery weather we are having and for the colder days yet to come.
I love that this jacket is short and it looks great with jeans and trainers / boots or a dress with boots. It is stylish and because it is black in colour can be worn with anything.
I like that the jacket falls just below my hips and features a drawstring cord to the waist – showing off my figure. On the front there are two pockets with popper buttons – perfect for storing my keys and phone. The hood is lined with fleece and features a detachable fur trim so you can easily change the design of your jacket in a couple of seconds. The coat fastens with a zip and poppers.
Although I am planning to wear this jacket through the rest of Autumn and all the way through Winter I will also be wearing it in Spring too and the wetter days in Summer. As it is perfect to wear most of the year I think that the jacket is great value for money.
