It doesn’t seem like two minutes since I was reviewing last months Degustabox box of goodies. But another month has flown by and another jam packed box has landed on our doorstep. I love the fact that I know nothing about the products within the box until I open it up. This month’s box, as with all our previous deliveries arrived in excellent condition and contained a variety of products inside.
1 packet of Lightly Salted Sweet Potato Kettle Chips. These chips contain 50% less fat then normal chips. Ideal for sharing and perfect for those having World Cup parties. Available in Lightly Salted or Sweet Chili flavours from Waitrose priced at £2.49 a pack.
1 packet of Garofalo Pasta. Perfect for eating as a snack or a family meal, ideal for making pasta and sauce or a pasta salad whilst the weather is nice. This pasta is made near naples and is priced at £1.89 for a 500g bag.
1 box of Taylors Blackberry and Elderberry Teabags. Taylors have teamed up with the Royal Botanical Gardens to offer 6 tea infusions (Blackberry & Elderberry, Sweet Rhubarb, Chamomile & Vanilla, Lemongrass & Ginger, Peppermint Leaf and Spiced Apple . Each box is priced at £2.99 and contains 20 wrapped tea bags.
La Cassica Passata. This is ready to use and comes in a plastic bottle rather than the normal glass jar. It is priced at £1.35 and is perfect for making that authentic Italian pasta dish.
1 can of Cawston Press Cloudy Apple. Ideal accompaniment to a barbecue or summer tea. This drink is surprisingly refreshing. Priced at £1 a can.
1 tube of Cirio Puree. Perfect for adding to your favourite pasta sauce. Priced at £1.10 a tube.
1 box of Elizabeth Shaw Flutes. These devine chocolate sticks are available in a selection of fillings and flavours. They make the perfect after dinner accompaniment. They are priced at £2.59 a box. We are even thinking of having these as part of our wedding favours as they would look lovely sat on each table.
1 can of Dr Oetker Cake Release Spray. This is an oil spray that is perfect for those who bake a lot at home. The spray eliminates the need for greasing and lining cake tins so saves you time and can be used on any cake tin. This product is available from stores nationwide priced around £2.28.
1 packet of Finn Crisp Crispbreads. Each packet is priced at £1.29 each. Finn Crisp only use natural ingredients. The crispbreads are made from wholegrain which is high in fibre, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
2 bottles of Hornby Cider. Best served chilled the cider is available in packs of 4 priced at £5. Available in 2 flavours Crispy Apple and Strawberry & Lime. Perfect to enjoy on a summers evening in the garden.
2 packets of Raw Energy Chewing Gum. Each pack contains 18 pieces of sugarfree gum which gives you a boost when you need it most. The raw gum has a unique taste and is rich in vitamin B. Each pack costs 99p.
