The weather is turning nicer and the nights are getting longer. But if you are struggling with where / what to do with your family then you should check out Go Ape Tree Top AdventureSet in the beautiful British countryside, visitors of any age can swing through the forest on zip wires, cross wooden walkways and bridges, climb tree-top ladders and fly through the air on Tarzan Swings whilst safely attached to a harness and taking in scenic landscape. Go Ape is the UK’s multi award winning forest adventure company with 29 Go Ape Tree Top Adventures nationwide. Before you are allowed out onto the course, you are given a half-hour safety briefing by one of Go Ape's qualified experienced instructors.  Here you’ll learn and try out the obstacles at low levels, and get to grips with the equipment.
Once you have completed your training you are allowed to go off onto the course. You’ll be responsible for yourselves on the course and for any under 18′s that you have signed for. However should you get into any difficulties, there will always be an instructor patrolling the forest floor.

You are constantly attached to the course and instructors are also on hand, but an adult must accompany every two children under 6 years old. A couple of weeks ago Matthew and his friend went to Go Ape at Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire. I am a wimp when it comes to heights so decided to let the boys go have some fun instead. They both came home having had an amazing time and said that the would definitely go again.

Go Ape Tree Top Adventures is perfect for those who like a little adventure in their lives. You can go on your own, as a couple or a part of a group. It would the perfect gift idea or as part of a hen / stag do.

*We were given 2 tickets to Go Ape so that we could try out the course before writing this post*
