Degustabox April Review

Another month has passed and another Degustabox has landed on our doorstep. I love the fact that I know nothing about the products within the box until I open it up. This month’s box, as with previous deliveries arrived in excellent condition and contained a variety of products inside. In fact this month has probably been my favourite box so far.

Inside this months box I received:

Three Lindt Treat Bars. These little beauties are priced at 89p each and are a perfect treat size bar. I enjoyed mine with a cup of tea and a book – 38g of perfection if you ask me.

Two packets of Clearspring Miso Soup. Simply add boiling water, stir and wait a couple of minutes. The perfect lunch time snack priced at £1.29 a packet. These are both Vegan friendly.

Two packets of McVities Jaffa Cakes Mini Rolls (one Tropicool and one Berry Burst). Each is priced at £1.30 for a pack of 6. These make the perfect lunchbox/ picnic treat. They can even be frozen and enjoyed as a light refreshing snack.

Two Morning Flake Superfast Pots. A ready mixed up cereal pot that just needs a little water and a stir with the spoon provided. They are the perfect breakfasts for those on the go / in a rush on a morning. You can choose from Raisin, Honey and Almond Granola and Fruit and Nut Muesli. Priced at £1.20 a pot.

Two bars of Dr Oetker Fine Cook’s Chocolate. Chocolate that has been created specifically for baking. The Dark Chocolate contains 72% Cocoa Solids (better for melting). Priced at £1.69 a bar – the boys and I intend to make some yummy cakes and chocolate puddings with these.

One packet of Keogh’s Atlantic Sea Salt and Irish Cider Vinegar. These crisps are gluten free and taste great. Perfect for those with an intolerance who have gone without their favourite snacks. They are priced at £1 a pack in most Tesco stores.

One bottle of Go Splash. This tiny bottle can flavour up to 6 litres of water. Perfect to take with you when out and about it is handy to fit into your pocket so you don’t have to bogged down with bottles of drinks. You can purchase Blackcurrant, Orange Pineapple or Lightning Red Energy for £2.45 a bottle.

One can of Cawstom Press Rhubarb Soft Drink. Priced at £1 a can and is free from artificial sweetners, preservatives and additives.
One bottle of Crabbies Alcoholic Ginger Ale. Perfect for drinking whilst enjoying an evening in the garden. A bottle is priced at £2.19. Available in Strawberry and Lime or Raspberry flavour.
So if you are wondering how and why these lovely products came to me this month and in the previous months let me explain. Degustabox is a monthly subscription service. You pay £12.99 (this includes delivery) and each month you will receive a box of 10 – 15 surprise food products – some of which are new products. The value of items in your box will always be more than what you have paid. The value of all the products in my box this month was £20. However, if you aren’t happy with the service and you wish to cancel your subscription you can do so at any time as you are under no obligation to buy more boxes than you want too.

If you would like to try Degustabox for yourself, My Three and Me have been given a code for you to use. It will give you £3.00 off your first box. Simple enter QPSQC at the checkout.  For more information, you can check out Degustabox on Facebook and Twitter
We will be reviewing Degustabox again next month. I can’t wait to see what surprises awaits us in our next box.
