Easter Fun With Cadbury

In celebration of the National Trust’s ‘eggsplorer’ theme, for its annual Easter Egg Trail, Cadbury has immortalised the nation’s favourite explorers in chocolate. These five explorers  have been chosen by children and have been superimposed on Cadbury’s Eggheads.  When asked what made the perfect explorer, a fifth (22%) of the children thought said they needed to be ‘really cool’, while others said that they would need to be ‘brave’ (51%) or ‘curious’ (29%). Their five favourite explorers of all time are:
  • Bear Grylls (24%)
  • Sir David Attenborough (17%)
  • Christopher Columbus (12%)
  • Helen Skelton (9%)
  • Ant & Dec (6%)
This Easter is the seventh year that Cadbury are supporting the National Trust and National Trust for Scotland. Together they will be hosting the 2014 Easter Egg Trails, something which promises to be a great day out for all the family!
Over the Easter weekend families will be able to take part in the annual Cadbury Easter Egg Trails with the National Trust. This event will be held in over 260 British locations. From spring woodlands and coastal trails to historic homes and castles. Each explorer will be given a kit when they take part, this will include a trail journal, map, passport and explorer hat. Once the explorers have completed the trail they will receive a Cadbury Egghead! What’s more, every single Cadbury Easter Egg Trail will help support the National Trust’s work, meaning all the lovely places will be looked after so that they can be enjoyed by everyone for a long time to come.
